The short version

emoji.dance is free to use. Some extras may come with an optional paid subscription, which you can cancel at any time. Be decent to people. We can cancel a subscription, or ban an account, at any time and for any reason.

Using emoji.dance

emoji.dance is run by Faceland LLC ("we", "us"). By using it you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use emoji.dance. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you're under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission.

Your account

You can use emoji.dance as a guest or log in with an account. You're responsible for what happens on your account, so keep the account you log in with secure.

Being decent

When you use emoji.dance, don't:

• harass, threaten or bully anyone;
• post or play anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit, or anything you don't have the right to share;
• spam, scam or pretend to be someone you're not;
• try to break, overload or get around the site's limits or security, or use bots or scripts to do so.

Room owners can also remove people from their rooms.

Videos and music

emoji.dance doesn't host videos or music: they play from their own sites (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion and SoundCloud), under those sites' own terms, and we aren't responsible for what they contain. By using emoji.dance you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

What you post

You're responsible for what you post, like your name, your room's name and what you say in chat. You keep whatever rights you have in it, and you let us show it to the people you're sharing it with, as running emoji.dance needs. We can remove anything, for any reason.

Subscriptions

emoji.dance is free. We may offer optional subscriptions with extras, like boosting a room. A subscription is paid in advance and renews automatically until it's cancelled. You can cancel yours at any time, and it stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments can't be refunded, except where the law says they must be. We may change prices, and we'll tell you before a change applies to your subscription.

Cancelling and banning

You can stop using emoji.dance at any time, and ask us to delete your account through our help page. We can cancel any subscription, or suspend or ban any account or person, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. If we do, you lose access to the account and anything that came with it.

No guarantees

emoji.dance is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or end any part of it at any time, and we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Faceland LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue, that come from using emoji.dance. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and if a change matters, we'll say so on the site. Using emoji.dance after a change means you accept it.
